has received funding from the Substance Abuse Prevention and
Treatment Agency (SAPTA) for the implementation of substance
abuse prevention programs within Clark County through the Nevada
State Prevention Infrastructure Grant (SPI) Request of Application

All
members of the substance abuse prevention community are welcome
to attend and to submit a Letter of Intent to apply for grant
funds no later that 4:00 p.m. November 9, 2007.
Goshen
Community Development Coalition will accept written applications
to fund Clark County substance abuse prevention programs and
services, which support the Comprehensive Community Prevention
Plan (CCPP) commissioned by Goshen Community Development Coalition.

Goshen
Community Development Coalition anticipates a total of $371,914.00
for the fiscal period of 2007-2008 from the SPI Grant to be
awarded to local prevention providers who demonstrate eligibility
requirements and successfully complete the RFA process.
Membership
with Goshen Community Development Coalition is required for
the submission of an application for funding.
Funding
is available for non-competitive continuation in year two contingent
upon the completion of the conditions of the prior year funding
award. Funds must be expended following all local, state, and
federal guidelines and may be use to support new programs that
address the identified priorities of the CCPP and that meet
the Program & Service Selection Criteria.
